Standard
These detectors measure the change in temperature of an absorption layer. Therefore the signal just depends on the energy of the measured pulse and not on its duration (if it not exceeds 20 ms) or wavelength.
The spectral range covers approximately 190 nm .. 15 µm. The damage threshold of the absorption layer is about 8 MW / cm2 (10 ns pulse). The maximum average power for the detectors is 0.15 W / cm2.
Additional equipment e. g. an oscilloscope is required to evaluate the detector head signals.
